This Grande Dame Heritage Listed Queenslander built in 1880 undertook a complete renovation allowing “the light to come forth” and honouring the original floor boards with custom designed bespoke furniture to fit the brief of the homeowner who wanted intimate corners for conversation and deliberation. The floor print was large and so was our custom designed rug featuring the handcrafted details of local villagers from where it originates. This detail of heritage reflected too in the master bedroom which we extended and made a “dramatic impact” with custom details in soft furnishings and art placement and beautiful drapery to honour the height and expanse of the beautiful rooms.
